About this item

The Globe 2 lamp is a handwoven Assamese lamp shade crafted from sustainable bamboo by artisans of Northeast India. Fine bamboo strips are interlaced into a rounded globe with an airy diagonal lattice, finished with a bamboo rim, a sturdy base ring and a thin yellow band across the middle. A chain of carved bamboo rings lets you hang it as a pendant, where it casts soft, dappled patterns on walls and ceilings. Measuring 24 x 71 cm and weighing about 200 g, it suits living rooms, bedrooms and cafés. An eco-friendly, handmade lighting gift.
