This Assamese Hanging Lamp is handwoven from sustainable cane by skilled artisans of Northeast India. Slim strips are wrapped in a diagonal crisscross pattern to form an oval lantern, finished with a neat rim at the top and base and a thin yellow band around the middle. A chain of carved rings makes it easy to hang from a ceiling hook or wall bracket. Measuring 25 x 20 cm and weighing about 150 g, it creates warm, textured light over dining tables, balconies, bedside corners and cafés. A charming handmade gift for festive and housewarming occasions.
