About this item
This handcrafted doll set brings the joy of Bihu into your home. The male Bihuwa, dressed in a white dhoti, red and white gamosa and headscarf, plays a red Dhol, while the female Nasoni wears a traditional red and gold mekhela chador with flowers in her hair. Each doll stands on its own round base and is finely finished by hand. Standing about 29 cm tall, the pair looks lovely in showcases, on shelves and in cultural displays. A memorable Bihu gift and souvenir from Assam. Being handcrafted, slight variations in colour, size and pattern make each piece unique.
