About this item
The Gamusa is the most cherished textile of Assam, offered to honour guests and worn with pride during Bihu and cultural events. This Gamusa is woven on traditional handlooms from cotton yarn, featuring a white body with rich red woven floral borders and fringed ends. Measuring 116 x 50 cm, it can be used for felicitation, as a scarf, a hand towel, or draped for religious ceremonies. Soft, absorbent and durable, it is a meaningful gift and souvenir from Assam.
