About this item
This showpiece set features two traditional bamboo fishing tools from rural Assam: the Jakoi, a triangular woven scoop used to catch small fish in ponds and paddy fields, and the Khaloi, a gourd-shaped basket used to carry the catch. Both are handwoven from bamboo and bound with cane by local artisans. Together they tell the story of Assam's river and village life. Measuring about 41 cm long, the set looks striking on walls, in corners, restaurants and homestays. A meaningful souvenir from Assam. Being handcrafted, slight variations in colour, size and pattern make each piece unique.

Usage: A rural heritage display piece for walls, corners, restaurants and homestays.Care: Dust regularly with a soft brush or dry cloth. Keep away from water, damp areas and direct heat. If it gets wet, air-dry in shade before use.
