About this item
This cotton Gamosa is woven in classic red and white, with a border of temple and Japi motifs surrounded by leaf and flower patterns. Red striped edges and fringed ends complete the traditional look. At about 150 by 62 CM, it is long enough for a stole, scarf or ceremonial cloth. The Japi and temple designs speak of Assam's culture and faith. Use it to honour guests, wear it at Bihu or offer it at a puja. A meaningful gift for a father, husband or elder, it stands for warmth, respect and Assamese pride. A treasured heirloom in the making.

Hand wash separately in cold water with mild detergent, as the red woven yarn may bleed in the first wash. Dry in shade, iron on medium heat and store folded.
