About this item
The Uluta Dug Dugi, or inverted drum pendant, is the centrepiece of this long necklace. A large teardrop in gold-tone metal is set with green and red kundan-style stones, and two smaller medallions sit on three strands of emerald green beads. The matching drop earrings end in small red stone drops. Handcrafted by Assamese artisans, the long length makes a graceful statement over sarees and mekhela chador. It is a striking choice for Bihu, weddings, puja and family celebrations, and a heartfelt gift for a wife, mother or sister who loves rich, traditional Axomiya Gohona. Truly special. Easy to wear.
