About this item
This Assam silk Gamosa features a rich red border woven with Japi and Kopou flower motifs, the Kopou being the Assamese orchid and a symbol of Bihu. A shining gold zari band and pink striped silk edges add a festive glow. The soft white silk body carries a small woven motif. At about 208 by 67 CM, it drapes generously as a stole or ceremonial cloth. Wear it at Bihu, weddings and puja, or use it to honour a guest of respect. A premium gift for a father, husband or elder, it celebrates Assamese silk and culture. Easy to wear.

Dry clean recommended. If washing, hand wash gently in cold water with mild detergent, do not wring, dry in shade and iron on low heat on the reverse side. Store folded in muslin.
