This Long Lamp is a handwoven Assamese lamp shade in sustainable bamboo, shaped like a tall amphora flask by artisans of Northeast India. The narrow neck is worked in a tight herringbone weave, opening into a rounded body with an open diamond pattern that lets light spill out warmly. A chain of carved bamboo rings adds charm and allows it to hang as a pendant. At 41 x 20 cm and only about 100 g, it suits side tables, reading corners, bedside spaces and cafés.
