About this item

This Pitlol Glass 1 is a traditional Assamese drinking glass handcrafted from brass (Pital) by the metalsmiths of Sarthebari and Hajo. Its tapered body widens towards the mouth and is decorated with engraved bands and hand-punched dotted floral motifs on a bright, polished golden surface. It stands about 11 cm tall with a 9 cm mouth. Use it to serve water, milk, lassi or sherbet at home and during festivals, or as a puja glass. A charming piece of Assamese metal craft that pairs well with kansa dinnerware and makes a lovely gift.
