About this item

Crafted in the traditional Assamese way, this weaver's bell lampshade is hand-plaited from bamboo strips in a neat hexagonal open weave. Its form tapers gently from a wide base to a narrower top, finished with a firm bound rim for strength and a clean edge. When lit, it scatters warm, patterned light across the room. Measuring 18 x 13 cm, it suits pendants above side tables, entryways, verandas, bedrooms and cafΓ©s. Natural, lightweight and eco-friendly, every shade is made by hand, so each has its own character. An affordable, meaningful gift for housewarmings and festivals.
